Last Game: February 2 at Syracuse - Syracuse 6 Cedar Rapids 4 - The Rampage dug a 4-0 ditch and then almost climbed out of it, scoring four goals in nine minutes to cut the deficit to 5-4, but Cedar Rapids couldn't score again and a late mistake put the Rampage down by two, effectively sealing the loss.

Next Game: February 16 vs. Baltimore - Cedar Rapids has dropped two one-goal games to the Blast this year and will get their third and final crack at them this regular season. Since the Rampage last faced Baltimore the Blast have signed former Cedar Rapids goalkeeper Joey Kapinos and former player/coach Jonathan Greenfield.

No Goal Patrol: Through five games, the Rampage had given up six power play goals in nine shorthanded situations and their 33.3% penalty killing percentage was just 13th in the league. Since then, the Rampage have killed 15 of 18 attempts and their 66.7% overall mark now ranks 6th in the MASL.

The New Guys: At the MASL roster freeze the Rampage signed Michael Scharf and Robby Gunderson, placed Head Coach Ante Cop on the active roster and activated Jonnathan Pachar from injured reserve. Pachar, and Mohamed Kenawy, who missed the last three games, have been cleared to practice. Brett Petricek (suspended), was removed from the active roster, officially ending his season
