Centomo Returns to Blazers

Oklahoma City, Okla. - Oklahoma City Blazers goaltender Sebastien Centomo was returned to the Blazers by the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, Blazers head coach Doug Sauter announced today.

Centomo, a 6-1, 196-pound native of Laval, Quebec was recalled for the second time this season by the Moose on December 12. In his second stint with the Moose, he appeared in one game, losing a 3-2 decision to the San Antonio Rampage. In three games with the Moose this season, Centomo has a 2-1-0 record, 1.95 goals against average, .895 saves percentage and a shutout.

As a Blazer, Centomo a 5-5-0 mark, 3.08 goals against average and .908 saves percentage. Centomo has won four of his last five starts as a Blazer. To make room for Centomo's arrival, the Blazers waived emergency backup Mike Smith.

The Blazers return to action in their traditional Christmas Night game with the Tulsa Oilers. Face off is set for 7:35 p.m. at the Ford Center. After a 1-6-0 start, the Blazers have won 13 of their last 17 and have crept to within three points of second place in the Northwest Division of the CHL.
