South Georgia Wildcats News Release
ALBANY, GA- The South Georgia Wildcats will have some help selecting their 2007 Dance Team this Saturday; Atlanta Falcons cheerleader Nikky Williams and WALB sports reporter Mike Shiers will be on hand to assist the Wildcats.
Nikky, who cheers for the AFL's Georgia Force as well as the Falcons, got her start with the af2's Macon Knights. "It's a huge honor for me to be asked to come in and judge for something like this," said Nikky. "It was me just a few years ago, so I'm very excited to be asked." Nikky has previously trained with Wildcat Dance Team Director Tracy Rutledge.
Although Shiers does not have any professional dancing experience, his sports expertise and opinions will be helpful to Tracy as she selects her 2007 squad.
The Dance Team tryouts will be held this Saturday, January 13th, at C.A.T.S. Cheer Center on Ledo Road at 1:30 p.m. The tryout fee is $25. More information about the tryout can be found at www.southgawildcats.com .
