
Cecilio Domínguez Obtains Green Card

Austin, TEXAS - Austin FC announced on Thursday that midfielder and Designated Player Cecilio Domínguez has obtained a Green Card to become a permanent resident of the United States.
Beginning in 2023, Domínguez, native of Paraguay, will no longer occupy an international spot on Austin FC's Major League Soccer (MLS) roster.
In January, Austin FC defenders Žan Kolmanič, Jhohan Romaña, and forward Rodney Redes also received their Green Cards prior to the 2022 MLS roster compliance deadline of February 25, allowing them to occupy domestic player designations on the Club's 2022 MLS roster and for subsequent seasons.
