Cavalry FC News Release
Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC is inviting our military members and first responders to attend our home game on Saturday, October 9th, 2021, which has been dedicated to honouring the courage and resilience of our community.
Spruce Meadows and Cavalry FC acknowledge and appreciate the amazing additional sacrifices that many of our community's first responders and healthcare workers have had to make since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. To show our heart felt gratitude towards this group of local first responders, military members, and healthcare workers, Cavalry FC is dedicating our upcoming match at ATCO Field on October 9th to them and their families.
This match, the final 'Al Classico' showdown between Cavalry FC and FC Edmonton, will feature interactive entertainment and live music from local musicians, as well as the release of our new Limited Edition Cavalry FC Camo Hats. A portion of all proceeds of these military-inspired hats sold during the October 9th match will be donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association, which has been supporting Canadians' mental health throughout the pandemic.
The match takes place at ATCO Field against FC Edmonton on October 9th, 2021. Doors open at 12pm, and kickoff is at 2pm.
