
'Cats suffer lopsided loss

Calgary, AB- The 'Cats couldn't pull out a win tonight in Calgary, losing to the Vipers 12-2. Joel Schmall went 7 innings, allowing all 12 runs. Kevin House played for the injured Chris Van Rossum,who injured himself last night. Van Rossum will be re-evaluated upon the team's return next Friday.
Tonight's game comes off yesterday's double header, where the Cats won the first game 11-1. In the second game the 'Cats came back in the 7th inning to tie it up, and forced the game into extra innings. However, nearing the 12th hour, the Vipers pulled out the victory 5-4 at the Foothills Stadium.
Next game for the 'Cats is tomorrow night in Orange County versus the Flyers.
