
Cats Score Impressive 6-1 Win Over Huskies In Game One

Moncton Wildcats News Release
The Moncton Wildcats came storming out in the first period scoring five goals and going on to a 6-1 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the first game of their quarter final series.
The Wildcats scored the only goal of the middle frame and the third period was scoreless.
Goal scorers for Moncton were Devon MacAusland, Ted Stevens, Daniel Pattersson, Mark Barberio, Randy Cameron and Kelsey Tessier.
The lone Huskies goal was scored by Jeff Desjaradins.
The Huskies outshot the Cats 31-26 with Nicola Riopel turning in an outstanding performance in the Moncton net.
On the power play, the Wildcats were 3 for 3 while the Huskies went 1 for 4.
The two teams meet again Saturday night for game two of the series which will shift to the Moncton Coliseum for games next Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (if needed)
