Haitian Relief Fund:

Wildcats fans contributed $1388.66 to the Haitian Relief Fund at the weekend games.. Coupled with a matching Government of Canada amount, a total of $2,777.32 will go to help the victims of last Tuesday's devastating earthquake.

Saves for Cancer numbers jump:

Wildcats goaltender Nicola Riopel launched his Saves for Cancer program last week. For every save he makes at home games, Rio is donating a dollar, which will be matched by the Wildcats in the Saves for Cancer program. The total funds raised have now reached $120.00 after three games. The money raised is going to long time Wildcats season ticket holder Kevin Rickard, who has been battling cancer since December 18, 2008. Kevin will undergo stem cell transplantation at the Queen Elizabeth Health Centre in Halifax starting February 8th.

Cats Community Calendar:

Some of the Wildcats will be skating at Centennial Park tomorrow night at 6pm; you're invited to come join the fun.

Reading is Wild starts its 12th year next week. This year's participating schools will be Dorchester, Forest Glen, West Riverview and Beaverbrook. Look for more details in Thursday's Coffee Cup.

The Oromocto Peewee Eagles, winners of the Old Dutch Food national contest will have their big day on January 31st. when they get to practice with the Cats.

The Wildcats bus rolls into Quebec this week for three games in three nights The Cats play Victoriaville on Friday, note the game time is 9pm Atlantic time, Saturday's game in Drummondville and Sunday's contest against Quebec will both start at 5 local time.
