New jerseys unveiled tomorrow:
Season Ticket and Flex holders, along with local media, are invited to a special "Meet the Cats" reception at the Coliseum tomorrow from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Included, among other things, is a preview of the new Reebok Wildcats Jerseys.
The Season tickets and Flex Packs will be available for pick up in the lobby next to the Wildcats office starting at noon.
Starting at 5:30, there'll also be an opportunity to meet the two new European imports, Kirill Kabanov and Marek Hrivik. Fans will get a chance to talk with goalie Louis Domingue and defenceman Brandon Gormley, two Wildcats standouts at the Under-18 tournament in the Czech Republic last month. The players will be signing autographs, the Roar Store will have specials and food concessions will cost just 99 cents. News 91.9, the voice of the Wildcats, will be on hand for live radio coverage after at 6 pm.

The 2009-2010 Home Opening Weekend is just 10 days away. If you haven't purchased your Season Seat Ticket or Flex Pack this is the week to do it. Either package can be purchased daily, Monday to Friday at the Cats office from 9:00 am to 6 pm. pick them up before 5:30 tomorrow and stay for the "Meet the Cats" reception. Single game tickets for Home Opening weekend against the PEI Rocket on Friday night and the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Sunday afternoon are now available at the Coliseum Box Office.
Roster set for season start:
With a pair of 5-2 wins over the PEI Rocket in the final two exhibition games of the pre-season, the Wildcats have set their roster for the start of the 2009-2010 season. On Sunday, defenceman Jeff Bell was reassigned to the Dieppe Commandos, with winger Cole MacMillan going to the Summerside Western Capitals of the Maritime Junior A League.
With three days to go before the launch of the new campaign against the PEI Rocket at the Charlottetown Civic Centre on Friday night at 7 pm, practice sessions will increase in intensity. Another road game is set for Sunday afternoon with the Cats facing the home town Acadie-Bathurst Titan at the K.C. Irving Regional Centre in Bathurst at 4pm.

In just over a week, the Cats Cup will be up for grabs. The annual event is set for Moncton's Main Street on Saturday, September 19th. It's one of the many events that will be part of the Wildcats Home Opening weekend. Registration forms are now available in the Times&Transcript, L'Etoile or on the Wildcats website at www.moncton-wildcats.com. The forms can be mailed or dropped off at the offices of Downtown Moncton Centre-ville, 910 Main Street, Suite 103, Moncton, NB E1C 1G6 up to September 15th. The winners will be announced on Thursday, September 17th in the sports section of the Times&Transcript and on the Cats website
