Edmonton, AB - The Edmonton Cracker-Cats got back on the right foot, surging past the visiting Long Beach Armada, 8-2 . Jose Morban hit his 17th home run of the season, good enough for second in the Golden League, to give Edmonton the commanding 6-0 lead going into the top of the sixth.
The 'Cats got a great game from their starter, Ricardo Rodriguez, who went 7.0 innings, with 6 h, 2 earned runs, 3 walks, and 7 strikeouts on the night. He was relieved by Robert Coello, who had one strikeout in the one inning he pitched. Dave Humen came into the 9th to close the game out for the 'Cats.
J.Figueroa pitched for the Armada, he went 6 innings, giving up 6 hits, 6 earned runs, 4 walks, with 5 strikeouts.
