'Cats and Sox Postponed Due to Weather

Lynchburg,VA- Minutes before first pitch on Thursday night the rain came in buckets and the game was called soon after. The game between the Lynchburg Hillcats and the Salem Red Sox has been postponed until tomorrow as part of a doubleheader.
Game one of the doubleheader is slated for a 6:05pm start time. The stadium gates will open at 5:00pm. Lefty Chris Masters(0-2, 7.20) will look for his first win as a Hillcat in 2012. Keith Couch (3-2, 5.15) will try to get the Sox off to a good start in the second half. The likely game two starters will be Aaron Northcraft (6-4, 3.70) and Scott Swinson (0-1, 10.29). If you can't make it to the field, tune in and listen live to all the action on 105.5 FM KD Country and online at lynchburg-hillcats.com starting with the Hillcats On-Deck Show coming on the air at 5:50pm with Erik Wilson and Mike Viso.
