Lincoln Saltdogs News Release
LINCOLN, NE - The Lincoln Saltdogs announced on Thursday that pitcher Angel Castro has signed with Chihuahua of the Mexican League. Lincoln filled his roster spot by activating infielder Chris Brown from the disabled list.
Castro made three starts for Lincoln after joining the active roster on June 6. He went 1-2 with a 4.20 ERA, suffering both of his losses on the road. Castro's final start for the Saltdogs was last night, when he took the loss at Grand Prairie.
Brown had been on the disabled list since May 28, suffering from an abdominal strain. He hit .200 with a home run and two RBI in 13 games before going on the DL.
