Casting Call for Oiler Ice Girls At Wild Horse Saloon

The Tulsa Oilers will be adding to their newest addition with an open casting call for members of the Oilers Ice Girls Wednesday night at 9 o'clock at the Wild Horse Saloon.

The Ice Girls are the official entertainment squad of the Oilers. They will be handling promotional activities at Oiler games at the BOK Center, and be ambassadors for the Oilers.

At Wednesday's casting call applicants will be asked to bring a photo to the Wild Horse Saloon (located at 81^st and Memorial). Interested women can pick up an application at the Wild Horse between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., prior to the interview process beginning at 9. Applications are also available by contacting the Oilers.

Fans will have a chance to meet the Ice Girls at the Oilers open house Saturday from 1-4 p.m. at the BOK Center. In addition to the BOK Center set up in a full hockey layout for the first time, fans will be able to enjoy a floor hockey game at 2:30 featuring area media personalities, enjoy the antics of the fire education clowns (complete with face painting), Jupiter jumps, be able to tour the Oilers lockerroom, and meet coach Dan Hodge, and several Oiler players.

Admission to the open house is free. There will be a concession stand open with food available for purchase.

The Oilers will play their first home game in the BOK Center, on Saturday October 25^th , against the arch rival Oklahoma City Blazers. Season tickets for the Oilers 2008-09 season in the new BOK Center are available by calling the Oilers at (918) 632-PUCK (7825).
