PAWTUCKET, RI -- Rusney Castillo delivered a game-winning single in the bottom of the tenth to send the Pawtucket Red Sox to a 2-1 victory over the Indianapolis Indians. The Tribe had the bases loaded in the top of the tenth with just one out, but Pawtucket reliever Dana Eveland ended the rally by recording the final two outs of the frame.

Luke Montz singled to lead off the bottom of the tenth, and he would move up to third base when back-to-back Pawtucket batters were hit by a pitch. Castillo then clubbed a single to left field to plate Montz and end the game.

The extra-inning defeat spoiled Adrian Sampson's gem, as he went seven innings and struck out a season-high eight batters. Eveland (2-0) received the win for the PawSox, while Josh Wall (0-1) took the loss for the Tribe.

Indianapolis now stands at 18-15, while Pawtucket improves to 20-13. Five of the last six games for the Indians have been one-run contests.
