SEATTLE - In a good old-fashioned barn-burner between two of the WNBA's best teams, the Seattle Storm got 28 points from Lauren Jackson and 21 from Swin Cash to outlast the Indiana Fever, 85-81. Both teams held double-digit leads and Indiana lost an 11-point second half lead despite a season-high 29 points by Katie Douglas.

The Storm avenged a loss in Indianapolis eight days earlier by winning its third straight game and remaining unbeaten at home. The Fever, which lost for just the third time in its last 11 games, lost for the ninth time in 10 games at KeyArena since 2000.

With 60 seconds remaining and Indiana trailing 79-76, Tamika Catchings missed a 3-pointer to tie the score and 16 seconds later, the Fever All-Star fouled out of the game. Cash made the second of two free throws to give Seattle a two-possession lead. Katie Douglas answered with two Fever free throws, but a reverse layup from Jackson kept the Seattle lead at 4. A free throw by Camille Little gave the Storm a 5-point advantage, just enough to hold off the Fever after a 3-point basket by Jené Morris with two seconds remaining. Jackson sealed the win with a pair of free tosses with less than a second remaining.

Seattle overcame the 11-point margin by holding Indiana scoreless for a stretch of 5 minutes, 56 seconds and taking its first lead of the half on a Sue Bird 3-pointer with 4:24 to play.

Bird added 16 points for the Storm which upped its WNBA-best record to 12-2. Indiana got 17 points from Catchings who scored in double figures for the 31st consecutive game which is the longest active streak in the WNBA.

Indiana trailed by 10 early in the second period, 32-22, but outscored the Storm 24-11 the rest of the half. Katie Douglas scored 12 of 19 first-half points during the stretch, including a 3-pointer at the halftime buzzer for a 49-43 lead, Indiana's largest of the half. A 3-pointer by rookie Jené Morris with 7:17 in the third period gave the Fever an 11-point advantage, 56-45, to cap a 34-13 run since its own double-digit deficit.

An entertaining first half included seven lead changes with both teams combining to shoot 61 percent from the floor. The Fever shot 64 percent and Seattle 57.
