San Angelo Colts News Release
San Angelo, TX-The San Angelo Colts activated catcher Trey Carter from the inactive list today. Carter, who was suffering from a strained calf, is hitting .314 with five homers and 19 RBI in 26 games this season. Carter had been out since June 28 and had missed the team's last 15 games.
With the activation of Carter, the Colts now have their roster set at the league limit of 22.
The teams will close out their four-game series on Friday beginning at 7:05 as Brian Henschel (3-4, 5.84 ERA) will go for San Angelo against Andres Rosales (3-2, 4.89 ERA) of Rio Grande Valley. The game can be heard on 1260 KKSA with the Kemps Pregame Show getting things started at 6:50.
Friday will also be Cap Night courtesy of Shannon Medical Center as the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free San Angelo Colts baseball cap. Furthermore, a large crowd is expected as Friday will also be Tom Green County Night. All fans and businesses of Tom Green County are invited to purchase general admission tickets at ½ price for only $3 while tickets last.
