Carolyn Swords to Judge Dunk Contest at Las Vegas 3on3 on Saturday, October 27

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Aces center Carolyn Swords will serve as a celebrity dunk contest judge Saturday, October 27, as MGM Resorts International and Spokane Hoopfest Association present Las Vegas 3on3 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds near Circus Circus. The dunk contest is slated for 1 pm PT.

Las Vegas 3on3 is an event for players of all ages, heights, abilities and experience, coming from across the globe in pursuit of the ultimate goal: to become Champion. It's a chance to play ball under the bright lights, in the big city!

Friends, families, fans and on-lookers can take part in the tournament by cheering on the teams and enjoying the food and interactive entertainment in the Festival Grounds while experiencing what surrounding MGM Resorts International properties have to offer.

The Las Vegas Aces tipped off their first season of WNBA competition in May of 2018. Playing at Mandalay Bay Events Center, the Aces are coached by legendary NBA player and WNBA head coach Bill Laimbeer. On the court, Las Vegas is led by a pair of All Stars in 2018 Rookie of the Year A'ja Wilson and Kayla McBride. The Aces improved from eight to 14 wins last season, just missing out on a postseason berth. Las Vegas won the rights to the first overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft during the August 28 WNBA Draft Lottery. Mandalay Bay Events Center is also home to WNBA All-Star 2019 on Saturday, July 27 of next year.
