
Carolina Thunder recruits in Alabama

Charlotte, NC. Tony Priscaro, CEO of the ABA Carolina Thunder professional basketball team today announced that the team will hold a Free Agent Tryout Camp in Mobile, Alabama on July 31 and August 1. According to Priscaro, "We hope all area players will join Thunder Assistant Head Coach, Derrek Hamilton on the hardwood for championship workouts, drills and strategies. Head Coach Brian Rowsom and pro scouts and agents will also attend."
Derrek Hamilton is a former star player for Ben. C. Rain High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. The #47 pick in the 1988 draft, he played for the NBA New Jersey Nets and spent 14 years in Greece and Italy as a top European player.
