
Carolina RailHawks Unveil Limited Edition Card Giveaway

Cary, NC (Thursday, June 19th, 2008) - The Carolina RailHawks announced today that the team will hand out 2,000 limited edition RailHawks player cards at select home games this season.
The first card is of Goalkeeper and 2007 WakeMed Unsung Hero Award recipient Chris McClellan , which will be distributed at the RailHawks June 27th match against the Portland Timbers at WakeMed Soccer Park at 8:00 PM courtesy of DNJ Mortgage. Tickets for this event are available at the LGFCU Box Office, by calling 919-859-KICK (5425), at all Ticketmaster outlets or by visiting www.carolinarailhawks.com
The set also includes midfielders Matt Watson and Martin Nuñez as well as 2007 USL-1 points' leader Dan Antoniuk and will end with the Carolina RailHawks mascot Swoops. Here is a complete schedule of the card giveaways:

Fans can get their cards signed after every RailHawks match at Autograph Alley at the north end of the stadium.
The RailHawks continue their road trip in Rochester on Friday, June 20th and Montreal on Sunday June 22nd. All road matches can be viewed live and on demand on the USL's broadband channel www.USLLive.com. The RailHawks will return home for the second round of the US Open Cup on Tuesday, June 24th against the Real Maryland Monarchs of USL-2. The next regular season home game for the Carolina RailHawks will be on Friday, June 27th as the RailHawks host the Portland Timbers at WakeMed Soccer Park at 8:00 PM and the RailHawks Women host the Hampton Roads Piranhas on Saturday June 28th at 7:30 PM.
