
Carlson Helps Coulee Take 2-0 Lead in Series

Chill goalie Adam Carlson was the difference in the game, as the Mercyhurst-bound netminder made 35 saves in the a 3-1 win, as the Chill graded a commanding 2-0 lead in the series and are headed home for the next game. After a scoreless 1st period, the Chill got the scoring started early in the 2nd period as Richard Zehnal scored his first playoff goal. Later in the period, Ian Mansfield answered back for the Wilderness to make it 1-1. In the 3rd period the Chill got goals from Kevin Shand and Adam Lovick in less than a three-minute span to grab a 3-1 lead, which they would hang on to the remainder of the game. Ryan Anderson made 15 saves in the Wilderness loss as the series now shifts to Coulee Region for Game 3.
