Atlantic City, NJ, March 15, 2004 â The CardSharks help celebrate St. Patrick's Day in their hometown on Saturday afternoon in front of a spirited crowd on Atlantic City's Boardwalk. The players, Diamond Dancers, and management showed up in full-force to help the city with their St. Patrick's Day festivities.
"This is a great opportunity for our club to become more involved in the community. We were honored to be included in this year's parade, and look forward to more community events in the future. Amy McCabe, Ann McGettigan and the rest of the Parade Committee did a wonderful job and should be commended for their efforts. Our players and dancers had a great time, and judging by the reaction of the crowd, we think the residents of the Atlantic City area did too," stated Assistant General Manager Matt Gionta.
The CardSharks continued their inaugural training camp over the weekend in preparation for their season opener on March 28th against the Show Me Believers.
