SPRINGFIELD, MO - The Springfield Cardinals (22-16) wrapped out a season-high 15 hits and scored in five different innings in a 12-6 win over the Midland RockHounds (25-14) in the series finale on Sunday afternoon at Hammons Field. After dropping the first four games of the series, Springfield has won back-to-back games to finish the week.

Notables:
Springfield OF Matt Lloyd came a triple shy of the cycle, going 3-for-4 with a home run and 3 RBIs.
C Luis Rodriguez went 2-for-3 with 3 RBIs in his second Double-A start since joining the Cardinals from High-A Peoria last week.
Mike Antico went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple, extending his hitting streak to 8 games. Antico has four straight multi-hit games.
Seven different Cardinals had at least two hits.
Right-hander Wilfredo Pereira allowed 3 runs on 6 hits over 4.1 IP in his first start with Springfield this season.
The Cardinals had at least one hit in every inning.
