Cardinals Game Postponed Due to Rain

JUPITER, Fla. - Tonight's 5:05 p.m. game between the Palm Beach Cardinals and Fort Myers Miracle has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow (Monday, August 8th) with Game 1 beginning at 5:05 p.m. The two games are scheduled to last seven innings each with a 30-minute break in between. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m.

Tickets for tonight's game can be exchanged for any remaining Florida State League game at Roger Dean Stadium, based on availability. Exchanges can be made at the stadium box office.

If the rotation holds steady right-hander Carlos Martinez (3-1, 4.45 ERA) will pitch for the Cardinals tomorrow in Game 1 and lefty Tyler Lyons (5-3, 4.66 ERA) will pitch in the nightcap. Lefties Matt Tomshaw (0-0, 8.31 ERA) and Pat Dean (2-4, 5.72 ERA) are scheduled to pitch for Fort Myers, but all matchups are subject to change.
