Cardel Fantasy Training Camp Announced

(Calgary) - One hundred participants have been selected at random to attend the Stampeder Fantasy Training Camp try-outs on Saturday Aug 13th, 2:30 pm at Cardel Place. All participants will be split into five teams of twenty participants. Each team will be led by Stampeder players. Teams will be run through a series of drills, the team with the best combined time from the drills will be sent to the Fantasy Football Experience on Sept 4 at McMahon Stadium.

WHEN: Saturday August 13th, 2005 @ 12:30 PM until 3:00 PM (approx.)

WHERE: Cardel Place

WHAT: Cardel Homes and the Calgary Stampeders join forces so 100 lucky Calgarians have a once in a lifetime opportunity to participate in the Fantasy Training Camp Tryout

Each of the five teams at the tryouts will also be represented by a charity of the Stampeder player's choice. The winning team will receive $15,000, which will be donated by Cardel Homes to their charity, second place will receive $10,000, third place $5,000, fourth place $3,000 and last place $1,000 for each of the charities they represent.

The 20 lucky winning team members will spend a day at practice with the Stampeders on Sunday Sept 4, 2005. They will participate in stretching and passing drills with the Stampeders. They will also receive a Calgary Stampeder Track Suit, a one day CFL contract, a press release announcing signing and releasing, and two tickets to a Stampeder game.
