And then there were two. After spending four days, nine hours and some odd minutes in the car, M.J. Gillikin opened the door to the 2004 Honda Accord and ended her run on Car Survivor just after 4 a.m.

Gillikin was the most outspoken contestant, bargaining for bribes and prizes to get the others out of the car. She came close once when she thought she had a 55" flat-screen TV donated by Costco to get Daniel to leave the car. When a Costco representative showed up to deliver the TV, M.J. was informed that it would instead be added to the grand prize package.

The two remaining contestants, Daniel Rice and Jeremy Hatley, are still going strong. Hatley is attending Birmingham Southern College in the fall, the only reason he says he would have to leave the car. Rice has a job, but has been given permission from work to stay in the car "as long as it takes to win it."

Last night, Rob Crank, general manager at Jerry Damson Honda Acura, introduced the real grand prize, a silver 2007 Certified Honda Accord. The car the contestants are sitting in and "stinking up?" It's just the game car now. The new prize has a sticker value of $15,425 and 57,000 miles. It's covered under the Honda Certified Used Car Limited Warranty for seven years or 100,000 miles. This car is in addition to the window tinting from Freddie Louis Auto Accessories, the DVD entertainment system from Jerry Damson, the 55" flat-screen TV from Costco, the diamond earrings from Donnie's Diamond Center and the $1,000 gas card.

It's starting to get interesting as the contestants are getting phone calls and visitors from all over. Jerry Damson Honda Acura provided all the contestants with cell phones so fans can call in and talk to their favorite Car Survivors. They've received phone calls from all over the U.S. and a few from fans abroad.

All the action inside the car is being broadcast live 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.carsurvivor.com.

The Stars continue their seven-game home stand tonight with game three against West Tenn at 7 p.m. It's another Military Monday. All fans showing a military or government ID at the ticket office get $1 admission for them and each of their guests. Gates open at 6 p.m. For more information, visit www.huntsvillestars.com.
