Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - Lake County Captains shortstop Francisco Lindor has been named to the World Team for the 14th annual Sirius XM All-Star Futures Game to be played on Sunday, July 8 in Kansas City, MO. He will be joined on the World Team by former Captain Jesus Aguilar. The Sirius XM All-Star Futures Game pits the top American-born prospects against a 25-man World roster comprised of athletes from countries and territories across the globe.
Lindor, 18 years old from Puerto Rico, will be the second player on a Captains active roster to be named to the team. Catcher Chun Chen was named to the World Team in 2010.
