The Lugnuts added a run in the sixth inning. Andy Burns hit his sixth homerun of the season to right field. The homer hit off the top of the wall and then skipped over the fence for a round tripper. The solo shot was the second of the ballgame for Lansing and the score was 2-0 Lugnuts.

Anderson also allowed two homers on the day and now has allowed five homeruns on the season. It was the second loss for Cody on the season. Anderson was also on the short end on May 5th in Bowling Green, KY. The final in the BG game was 2-0. Francisco Valera relieved Anderson and pitched two innings and struck out one.
