
Captain Francesco Pinelli Signs with LA Kings

The LA Kings announced Monday that the team has signed Kitchener Rangers Captain Francesco Pinelli to a three-year, entry-level contract that will begin in the 2022-23 season.
Pinelli was the 42nd overall selection in the 2021 NHL Draft. He was named captain of the Rangers in his second season with the team and has a career-high 22 goals, and 36 assists in 53 games this season, along with a plus-4 rating.
The Stoney Creek, ON native, won a gold medal with Team Canada during the 2021 IIHF Under-18 Men's World Championship, posting 11 points and a plus-8 rating in 7GP.
