Capobianco Ranked in 2015 NHL Central Scouting Midterm Ranking

The Canadian Hockey League announced Tuesday that 150 CHL players appear in NHL Central Scouting's Midterm Rankings for the 2015 NHL Draft which takes place June 26-27 in Sunrise, Florida.

Among those ranked was Wolves' sophomore defenceman KYLE CAPOBIANCO who was ranked 67th in the 2015 NHL Central Scouting Midterm Ranking. The 6'01, 170lb left-shot defenceman has showcased his offensive up-side this season, already more than doubling his point totals from last season. In 42 games to date, Capobianco has notched 6 goals and added 21 assists.

The domestic rankings list a total of 210 North American skaters including 132 from the CHL, also listing an additional 35 North American goaltenders including 18 that currently compete in the CHL.

Seven of the top-10 ranked goalies are also from the CHL including the top three led by Mackenzie Blackwood of the Barrie Colts. Callum Booth of the Quebec Remparts is listed at two, followed by Samuel Montembeault of the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada at number three.

The Ontario Hockey League leads the way with 53 players appearing in the rankings including 46 skaters and seven goaltenders, followed by 51 players from the Western Hockey League including 44 skaters and seven goaltenders, with a total of 46 players from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League listed including 42 skaters and four goaltenders.
