Madison Capitols News Release
MADISON, WI - The Madison Capitols, a member of the United States Hockey League, will honor members of Middleton Fire Department when they host the Green Bay Gamblers at Bob Suter's Capitol Ice Arena on Friday, April 6, President Andrew Joudrey announced on Tuesday.
Members of Middleton Fire Department will drop the ceremonial first puck, collect donations in their firemen's boots for the 50/50 raffle throughout the game, and perform a relay race during the first intermission on Friday night. A portion of each ticket purchased through the fire department's link will be given back to help purchase new equipment for the station.
"The members of Middleton Fire Department risk their lives everyday to protect our community," said Joudrey. "We are honored to have them join us for a game and help raise awareness and give back to their department on Friday night."
Friday's game is also the last $1 Beer Night of the season, and the final Wisconsin Cheese Cup match-up, presented by Odyssey Brands. For ticket information, call the Capitols at (608) 257-CAPS or visit us online at www.MADCAPSHOCKEY.com.
