GENEVA, ILLINOIS - As part of the team's Fan Appreciation Night festivities next Friday, April 13, the Chicago Steel will be giving away hundreds of great prizes from corporate partners, as well as exclusive Steel experiences, the team announced Tuesday. The Steel close the 2017-2018 regular season next weekend, with the final home game scheduled for April 13 against the Central Illinois Flying Aces at Fox Valley Ice Arena. In addition to the prize giveaways, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a 2017-2018 Chicago Steel Team Photo courtesy of Aurora Fastprint, and all fans attending the game will have a chance to participate in a game-worn jersey auction.

Tickets to the 7:05 p.m. game start at just $10 when purchased in advance and parking is always free.

In addition to the team photo, as fans enter they'll be given the opportunity to win prizes during the game. Some of the prizes will be awarded based on which Steel player scores during the game while others will be raffled off.

Prizes have been furnished by over 20 businesses, as well as one-of-a-kind Steel in-game experiences. Prizes include a two-night stay in a suite at Comfort Inn & Suites Geneva, bread for a year from Panera Bread, a $100 VISA gift card courtesy of Inland Bank & Trust, your height in cases of Bud Light beer from Superior Beverage (must be 21+), a Summer Splash package at Pheasant Run Resort, a Family Fun Pack at Sky Zone Aurora and much more.

Unique experiences from the Steel include your chance to have the team photo autographed in-person by the entire team, play ping pong with Steel ping pong champion #25 Samuel Bucek, take a selfie with #26 Aaro Vidgren, receive a bobblehead doll of Steel mascot Rusty along with a hug from the life-sized version, an interview on the Steel broadcast during the second intermission, have your seat upgraded to the front row, and get "a really good high five" from #12 Jack Dugan.

Additionally, all fans attending the game will receive 25% off all Steel merchandise at the game (some restrictions apply).

"Fan Appreciation Night is an opportunity for us to say thank you to our fans, and we're grateful for our many partners who have joined us in providing terrific prizes and giveaways that will make the night even more special," said Steel President Dan Lehv.

Fans at the game will have an opportunity to bid on game-worn Steel jerseys from the 2017-2018 season. Bidding starts at $150 per jersey and jerseys will be delivered to the winning bidders following the conclusion of the season (including potential playoffs).

Prior to the game, the Steel will honor the parents and host families of their players in a pre-game ceremony starting at approximately 6:45 p.m.

Chicago, the 2017 USHL Clark Cup Champions, currently hold the sixth-and-final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with four total games remaining, including Fan Appreciation Night against I-55 rival Central Illinois. The Steel's magic number to clinch a second-consecutive berth in the Clark Cup Playoffs is five.

The Steel travel to Ohio this weekend for a Friday and Saturday set against the Youngstown Phantoms with both games set for a 6:05 p.m. CT puck drop. Steel games are carried live on Mixlr (free audio) and HockeyTV (iPPV). For broadcast links and information, visit ChicagoSteelHockeyTeam.com/broadcast.
