Capital City Dance Team Auditions Scheduled for August 8

Austin, TX (July 7, 2015) - The Austin Spurs will host auditions for the 2015-16 Capital City Dancers on Saturday, August 8. Following the first round of auditions, interviews will be scheduled with selected participants for Saturday and Sunday, August 9. Finalists will be invited to training camp the week of Aug. 10-13.

To help aspiring dancers prepare for auditions, prep classes will be held at Balance Dance Studio on July 29 and August 5.

The Capital City Dancers perform at all Austin Spurs home games and participate in various community events. Interested candidates must be at least 18 years old, with prior dance or cheer experience. Candidates must be able to commit to all required practices and the team's home game schedule. The early registration fee is $25 (before Aug. 6) and $35 on the day of auditions.
