Canadiens Reassign Engqvist to Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QC - The Montreal Canadiens announced tonight that forward Andreas Engqvist has been reassigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs. He will be available to play in tomorrow's Pucks & Paws game at Copps.
Engqvist, 24, has played 11 games with the Canadiens this season, recording five blocked shots and nine hits. The 6-foot-1, 201-pound centre leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 34 points (18 goals, 16 assists) in 43 games this season. The native of Stockholm, Sweden has eight power play goals and 100 shots on goal with the 'Dogs in 2011-2012.
The 'Dogs will host the Grand Rapids Griffins TOMORROW, Sunday, March 4th, 2012 at 5 p.m. at Copps Coliseum for the first annual Pucks & Paws game. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game for only $5, up to two dogs per owner, with proceeds going to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
