Canadiens Assign Aaron Palushaj to Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QUE (December 4, 2011) - Montreal Canadiens General Manager Pierre Gauthier announced today that forward Aaron Palushaj has been assigned to the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Palushaj, 22, has played in 15 games this season for Montreal and was pointless with seven shots, a -2 plus / minus rating while averaging 6:36 of ice time per game. The 5-foot-11, 187-pound forward has played in seven games with the Bulldogs this season recording eight points (1 goal, 7 assists), 20 shots, a -3 plus / minus rating and 10 penalty minutes. Palushaj competed in 68 games with the 'Dogs in 2010-2011, posting 57 points (22 goals, 35 assists). The native of Livonia, Michigan also played in three games with the Habs in 2010-2011, going pointless.

The Bulldogs continue their home stay on Tuesday, December 6th, at 7:30 p.m. when they face the Adirondack Phantoms at Copps Coliseum.
