Canadian and Global Drafts Slated for May 2

The Canadian Football League will hold two drafts on Tuesday, May 2.

Starting at 9 a.m. MDT, it's the global draft featuring talent from around the world. The Calgary Stampeders currently have two selections in the two-round global draft including the sixth overall pick.

Later in the day, starting at 6 p.m. MDT, the national draft gets underway with the top Canadian talent available. The Stamps have eight selections in the eight-round draft including the fourth overall pick.

Fourth overall (pick acquired from Hamilton in Bo Levi Mitchell trade)

Pick forfeited following the selection of defensive lineman T.J. Rayam in the 2022 supplemental draft

The current Stampeders roster features 19 players drafted by Calgary including at least one pick in every round from one through eight.

The global draft has produced three current members of the roster including linebacker Ryan Gomes, defensive back Bailey Devine-Scott and all-star punter Cody Grace.
