Save - Bill Pulsipher (3) Lynx record improves to 44-40. They win their third straight, and sweep Buffalo. Player of the Game: Joey Hammond had four hits including a double and a triple, as the Lynx pounded out 15 hits in the victory. Home Runs:

OTT - None Key Plays: Rob Sasser scored the go-ahead run on a throwing error, and Joey Hammond drove home the second with an RBI double, as the Lynx scored 2 in the 8th to win. Recap: In another tight ballgame, the Lynx took an early 3-0 lead in the 3rd inning. Joey Hammond singled, and was followed one out later by a Jack Cust single. Jose Leon, Napolean Calzado and Pedro Swann followed with RBI singles putting the Lynx up by 3. Buffalo got two back in the top of the 4th, when Alex Escobar blasted a two-run homer off of John Stephens. The Lynx got one of those runs back in the bottom half, as Joey Hammond tripled to right center and scored on Eddy Garabito's sac fly. Josh Bard's homer in the 6th got the Bisons to within one, and they tied the game in the top of the 8th on Greg LaRocca's RBI double. The Lynx broke the tie in the bottom half. Rob Sasser's bad hop single, and ensuing throwing error by LaRocca put him on second with no out. Tim Raines Jr. then bunted, and Chad Paronto threw to third wildly, scoring Sasser and allowing Raines to advance to third. One out later, Joey Hammond doubled to right, scoring Raines and putting the Lynx up 6-4. Bill Pulsipher came on for the final three outs to record his third save. The Lynx will add INF Luis Lopez, whom they acquired from the Colorado Rockies, to their roster tomorrow. The 32-year old Lopez is a veteran of 648 Major League games.
