Rockford, ILâ Find out on the links of Prairie View Golf Course on August 3. That's the date for the Second Annual RiverHawks Golf Outing, sponsored by TDS Metrocom.
The outing kicks off at noon at Hooters. Golfers will enjoy wings and drinks, courtesy of the RiverHawks, to start the day off right.
The event will continue as area business and civic leaders golf in a four-person best shot competition at beautiful Prairie View Golf Course in Byron. Each team will consist of three players and either a RiverHawks player or a staff member.
The day ends at Rockford's 5th Alarm Firehouse for a bottomless nacho bar and beers on the RiverHawks.
Reserve your spot today for just $50. Call the RiverHawks box office at 964-2255, and don't delay, because spots are going fast. Hole sponsorships are also available for as little as $150.
All games are broadcasted live on WRHL-FM, 102.3, the Hub and at the team website. The RiverHawks are members of the Frontier League, a 12-team independent professional baseball league in its 12th season.
