Rockland 6, New York 0

The Rockland Boulders scored three runs in the bottom of the third and added three more in the sixth frame to defeat the New York Federals 6-0. Boulders starting pitcher Bobby Blevins pitched six scoreless innings to earn the win. Blevins fanned six hitters and scattered four hits. Rockland DH Barry Wesson went 3-for-4 at the plate with an RBI, and 2B Ray Stokes went 2-for-3 with an RBI triple and two runs scored. Rockland LF Jeremy Slayden and 3B Ryan Mollica each went 1-for-4 with an RBI, and CF Norm Hutchins and RF Ryde Rodriguez each batted in a run as well. For the Federals, CF Stephen Pinto went 1-for-4 with a double in the loss.

Quebec 4, Newark 3

After seeing a three-run lead slip away, the visiting Quebec Capitales plated the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth and held on to secure a 4-3 win over the Newark Bears. Capitales CF Goefrey Tomlinson led Quebec with three RBIs in the game. Quebec plated three runs in the top of the fourth to take a 3-0 lead. In the inning, C Patrick D'Aoust singled in a run, and Tomlinson hit a two-RBI single. The Bears pegged back a run in the bottom of the fourth, and then tied the score 3-3 when SS Chase Fontaine hit a two-RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth inning. In the top of the eighth, Tomlinson drew a walk with the bases load to give Quebec a 4-3 lead. Quebec starting pitcher John Mariotti earned the win for his seven innings pitched. Mariotti allowed three runs on nine hits while striking out three hitters. TJ Stanton worked a scoreless ninth to earn the save for Quebec.

New Jersey 5, Worcester 0

New Jersey ace Isaac Pavlik worked seven strong innings to lead the Jackals to a 5-0 victory against Worcester. Pavlik conceded no runs, scattered six hits and fanned five hitters to earn his eleventh victory of the season. Jackals 1B Kris Sanchez went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two doubles, and 2B D'Angelo Jimenez went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. New Jersey CF Sean M. Smith also batted in a run for New Jersey. Also for the Jackals, DH Mike Jones doubled twice and scored a run. For Worcester, C Alex Trezza had two hits in a losing effort.

Brockton 6, Pittsfield 3

Brockton LF Dan Barbero drove in three runs to help the Rox defeat the Pittsfield Colonials for a 6-3 win. Barbero belted a solo home run in the top of the seventh, and hit a two-RBI double in the top of the eighth. Rox 2B Tucker Nathans tripled, had an RBI and scored a run, and SS Dominic Ramos went 1-for-3 with an RBI. Brockton starting pitcher John Kelly was credited with the win for his five innings pitched. Kelly allowed just one run on four hits while striking out five. Jake Hale worked a scoreless ninth and struck out two hitters to earn the save for Brockton. Pittsfield DH Scott Knazek homered in a losing effort.
