Worcester 12, Quebec 2

A seven-run seventh inning gave Worcester a commanding lead they wouldn't surrender as the Tornadoes topped the Capitales 12-2. DH Nick Salotti had a big night, going 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles. Zach Zuercher threw six effective innings to pick up the win with a quality start, surrendering just two earned runs on five hits. CF Danny Santiesteban, the reigning Hitter of the Week, went 2-for-5 and crushed his ninth home run of the year.

Pittsfield 8, New Jersey 2

Starting pitcher Miguel Flores allowed just a single earned run in seven innings of work, and the Pittsfield offense provided more support than he needed in an 8-2 win over New Jersey. SS Matt Nandin and C Scott Knazek contributed three hits apiece, and DH Donny Leon went 2-for-3 with a walk and his fourth home run of the year. The Jackals managed just three hits off the Colonials' pitchers, with their scoring coming from a two-run double by LF Jeff Grose in the bottom of the second.

Sussex 7, Brockton 5

Brockton rallied late to send the game into extra innings, but Sussex pushed across two in the top of the tenth in a thriller. RHP Tim Stringer gave the Skyhawks six impressive innings, surrendering just a single unearned run, but the bullpen cost him a decision. With the Rox down two with one out in the ninth, RF Keith Brachold punched a two-run single to tie the game at five all. However, 3B Nick Giarraputo responded with a two-run single of his own with the bases loaded and two outs in the tenth to push the Skyhawks to victory.
