Brockton 3, Sussex 2

Brockton starter Wayne Lundgren didn't allow an earned run in seven innings and the Rox offense did just enough to beat Sussex 3-2. Lundgren scattered five hits and struck out eight to improve to 5-1 on the season. Relievers Josh Papelbon and Hunter Davis didn't allow a hit over the final two innings. The Skyhawks' Jeff Icenogle also pitched a solid game, lasting eight innings and surrendering two earned runs.

Quebec 9, Worcester 5

Quebec jumped out to an eight-run lead and made it hold up in a 9-5 victory over Worcester. Quebec DH Sebastien Boucher got the scoring started with a three-run first inning home run and the offense managed 12 hits in the game. Quebec starter Dan Sausville did well enough to earn the win, allowing five runs in 6.2 innings.

New Jersey 6, Pittsfield 3

New Jersey starter Ryan Lobban held Pittsfield to two runs in six innings, and RF Jacob Butler launched his sixth home run of the season as the Jackals beat Pittsfield 6-3. Lobban earned his third win of the season by striking out six and allowing just four hits. Daniel Carte hit his sixth home run in the loss for Pittsfield.
