The Worcester Tornadoes rallied from an early 2-0 deficit to defeat the Ottawa Rapidz. Tornadoes were led at the plate by DH Alex Pena who was 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs scored and a run batted in. Worcester RF Scott Grimes also chipped in with a two-hit performance with a run scored and three RBI. Tornadoes reliever Ryan Lobban won the game in relief going 2 1/3 innings allowing a hit while striking out three batters. Lobban improved to 5-1 on the year. For the Rapidz in defeat, 2B Jose De Los Santos went a perfect 4-for-4 at the dish.

Nashua 7, Quebec 6 (10 Innings)

A sacrifice fly by 3B Aregenis Tavarez and a RBI single by DH Dorian Rojas plated two runs for the Nashua Pride in the top of the 10th inning and lifted them to victory over the Quebec Capitales. LF Vinny Pennell went 3-for-4 with a RBI and a run scored to lead the Pride offensively. Nashua reliever Brett Palanski notched his third victory of the year going two innings allowing two earned runs on four hits with a strikeout. Pride closer Adam Piechowski gave up a run in the bottom of the 10th inning but held on for his 5th save of the season. 3B Pat Deschenes had three hits in four at-bats for Quebec tonight.

Brockton 6, New Jersey 2

The Brockton Rox finishes the regular season up strong as the Rox defeats the New Jersey Jackals and completes the four game sweep. LF Jud Thigpen led the way offensively for Brockton going 3-for-4 with his 17th home run of the year, two runs scored and two RBI. Greg Bunn collects the win for the Rox going six innings giving up two earned runs on four hits with eight strikeouts. He finished the season at 2-3 with Brockton.

Atlantic City 7, Sussex 6

After falling behind 3-0 in the top of the first inning, the Atlantic City Surf scored seven unanswered runs to take a 7-3 lead after four innings and would hold on at the end to edge the Sussex Skyhawks. DH Clyde Williams finished a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate for Atlantic City with a RBI and C Joe Burke went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a run batted in. Surf starting pitcher Charlie Ruud notched his first win with Atlantic City going five innings allowing three earned runs on six hits. CF Ron Perodin and 2B Chris Brown each had 2-for-4 nights at the dish for the Sussex Skyhawks.
