The Brockton Rox used a great outing from starting pitcher Gary Galvez and a big game from DH Jason Radwan, to move past the Sussex Skyhawks and improve to 17-20 on the year. Galvez allowed just one run on four hits, one walk and nine strikeouts through seven strong innings. With the win, he moved his record to 2-4 on the season. Radwan led all hitters in the game, going 3-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI.

In what proved to be an offensive showcase, the New Jersey Jackals held on to outlast the Atlantic City Surf and improve to 26-10 on the year. The Jackals countered 12 Surf hits with 15 of their own, led by 1B Clyde Williams, who was 4-for-6 with a run scored and three RBI. New Jersey C Matt Lauderdale had just one hit, but it was a big one, a three-run home run, his fourth of the year. Atlantic City RF Rico Santana and LF Rob Fischer also had a homer each in the losing effort.
