Nashua got a great outing from starting pitcher Akira Okamoto to improve to 10-7 on the year with a win at home. Okamoto allowed just one run and scattered five hits through eight innings. He struck out 11 and walked just two, improving his record to 2-0 in the process. SS Olmo Rosario provided the run support for the Pride offense. Rosario was 2-for-4 with a home run, his fifth, and three RBI. Closer Rich Garces worked a scoreless ninth to pick up his sixth save of the year. Surf 2B Denver Kitch led the way at the plate in the losing effort, going 2-for-4 with one RBI.
