In a marathon that lasted nearly four hours, the Sussex Skyhawks found enough in their tank to pull off the win after 12 innings. Things didn't look good for Sussex early, as they trailed 5-1 after two innings. But from there the bullpen took over and allowed just two runs, only one earned, the rest of the way. Skyhawks DH Walter Young certainly did his part to keep Sussex in the game. He finished 5-for-6 with a home run and four RBI. Skyhawks leadoff man Ron Perodin also had a nice game, going 4-for-7 with four runs scored and a RBI.
