BROCKTON 4, GRAYS 3 @ Brockton, Mass. Time: 2:39 ATT: 5,468 W: Manny Tejada (2-3) L: Jodie Kennedy (1-2) S: Tony Stutz (1) HR: BRO - Guye Senjem (2) A three-run third propelled Brockton to their second victory in a row over the Grays. The Rox got one in the second on an RBI single from 2B Hector Henriquez, but the Grays countered with one in the top of the third on a sac fly from LF BJ Weed. Brockton then came back with three in the bottom half of the inning on an RBI double from 1B Craig Lewis and a two-run home run from DH Guye Senjem. Sixth-inning RBI singles from DH Willie King and C Brad Hargreaves made it 4-3, but that was as close as the Grays would come.

ELMIRA 7, NEW JERSEY 3 @ Elmira, NY. Time: 3:02 ATT: 1,269 W: Glen Keeton (3-0) L: Julio Perez (0-1) S: None HR: None RBI base hits by DH Derek Barrows and 1B Ryan Morgan keyed a four-run rally in the sixth that paved the way for Elmira's 7-3 win over New Jersey. Barrows' RBI single with runners on the corners and no outs broke a three-all tie, and Morgan's RBI double later in the inning capped the scoring at 7-3. CF Jason Tuttle was 4-for-5 with two runs for the Pioneers. Glen Keeton picked up the win for Elmira, allowing three earned runs on eight hits over six innings. Chris Roque and Brian Ford combined for three innings of scoreless, one-hit ball to preserve the win. Morgan finished 3-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs.

WORCESTER 4, NEW HAVEN 2 @ West Haven, Conn. Time: 3:03 ATT: 1,363 W: Junior Guerrero (2-0) L: Tim Keinath (0-3) S: David Byard (3) HR: None 1B Yohanny Valera and 2B Alex Nunez had RBI base hits to key a three-run, fourth-inning rally that sent Worcester to a 4-2 win over New Haven County. Valera hit a two-run double with no outs, and Nunez added an RBI single with two outs. Nunez finished 3-for-4 with a run, an RBI and a stolen base. Junior Guerrero allowed just one earned run on four hits over six and a third innings to get the win. David Byard pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.
