Pittsfield 6, Worcester 4 - 7 innings (Game 2 - regularly scheduled game)
Pittsfield scored four runs in the seventh inning en route to a 6-4 win against Worcester. Both teams scored a run in the first inning, and the Tornadoes had a 3-1 lead against the Colonials after five innings. In the top of the sixth, Pittsfield third baseman Johnny Welch hit a home run, and in the seventh the Colonials scored four more to take the lead. Left fielder Billy Mottram led Pittsfield with two hits, two RBI and one run in three at-bats. Third baseman Mark Minicozzi chipped in three hits and RBI for the Tornadoes, and Worcester had 11 total hits in the game. Mike Zenko earned his second win of the season, allowing two hits, no runs and striking out one in 1.2 innings pitched.
