New Jersey 3, Rockland 2 - Game 2 (7 innings)

Ottawa 2, St. Paul 1
Ottawa snuck the victory in this interleague pitcher's duel. LF Mike Schwartz scored the winning run in the fifth inning after walking to get on base. Schwartz was able to advance to third with two outs because of a wild pitch. DH Alex Nunez was able to drive home the winning run because of a single. The RBI was Nunez's 8th of the season. The Champions were powered by their starter Drew Cisco, who went five innings and only allowed one run. The bullpen took it from there. With the game on the line in the last two innings, the Champions' relievers struck out five batters, including two by closer Alan DeRatt, who was credited with the save.
The lone run for the Saints was scored by CF Willie Argo, who went 2-3 with a run scored. Starter Drew Gay gave up two runs and struck out four in six innings.
