Brockton 4, Quebec 3
Brockton's three-run fifth inning helped them overcome a 2-0 deficit as they held on to beat Quebec 4-3. Rox 3B Jorge Jimenez had two hits in three at-bats with an RBI and a run scored, and 2B Mike Torres went 2-for-4 from the plate with a run scored and an RBI. After surrendering two runs in the first inning, Rox starting pitcher Freddy Flores earned the win, striking out four batters in his five and two-thirds innings pitched. For Quebec, 3B Michael L. Thompson went 2-for-5 from the plate with two RBIs and a run scored in a losing effort. Despite surrendering a run in the ninth inning, right-hander Travis Hughes earned the save and secured the 4-3 win.
