Worcester 7, Brockton 4
Left fielder Alex Nunez's three hits in five at-bats, two runs and two RBI led Worcester to a 7-4 win against Brockton. Brockton tallied 11 hits in the matchup - three of them from catcher Chris Grossman - but the Rox were unable to top the Tornadoes. Worcester scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth, two from an Abraham Nunez home run. The Tornadoes struck again in the bottom of the sixth with a pair of runs to lead Brockton 6-4. Worcester tacked on one more run in the bottom of the seventh to seal the deal. Winning pitcher Zach Zuercher, now 2-1 this season, allowed 11 hits, four runs, and struck out two in 6.1 innings pitched.
