The Capitales collected 24 hits to tie a league record for most hits in a game during their 18-3 victory over Sussex. Quebec scored runs in bunches as they put up four in the first inning, six in the fifth inning, and four more in the eighth. Skyhawks starter Michael Rogers surrendered four runs on three hits and retired just two batters. Subsequent Sussex pitchers had an even harder time recording outs. Eleven position players recorded a hit for Quebec and eight of the 11 had multiple hits in the contest. Catcher Greg Stevens had a huge night as he hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning, finished 3-for-5 and drove in five. CF Goef Tomlinson was on his game too, going 4-for-5 with a RBI and three runs scored.

Worcester starter Eddie Pena was superb for eight innings as he held Atlantic City scoreless on just four hits to lead the Tornadoes to a 3-0 victory. Pena struck out just two men but walked only one. Ryan Lobban pitched a 1-2-3 ninth inning for his first save of the season. The Tornadoes scored single runs in the fourth, fifth, and eighth innings and were led by centerfielder BJ Weed who went 2-for-5 in the contest. LF Francisco Caraballo went 1-for-3 and drove in a run. Adam Cox pitched well for 6 1/3 innings but took the loss to fall to 2-2.

Ottawa capitalized on four Nashua errors and got home runs from LF Jereme Milons and 3B Felix Escalona to beat the Pride 9-2. The Rapidz broke a scoreless tie in the fifth inning using three Nashua miscues to score three times. Escalona's home run came in the sixth inning and helped increase the lead to 5-1 before Milons hit a two-run shot in the ninth inning as Ottawa tacked on four more runs. Adam Hawes went seven strong innings and allowed just two runs, each on solo homers. He improves to 2-3 on the year. Dallas Strankman struck out three over the final two innings and did not allow a hit.
